Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This policy explains what information the Expert.Email website and consulting practice collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: this is a simple website, it does not track you, and we do not sell personal information.
1.Who we are
Expert.Email is the email deliverability and email marketing consulting practice of Chuck Mullaney. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Expert.Email. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at chuck@expert.email.
2.What we collect
We collect only what the website and our services need to work.
When you visit the website
This website is a static site hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel automatically records standard server logs when a page is requested, including your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the date and time of the request.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those fonts from Google’s servers, which means your IP address and browser information are sent to Google.
When you book a call
Booking is handled by Cal.com, a third party scheduling service. When you book, Cal.com collects the information you enter, such as your name, email address and any details you add about your request, and shares it with us so we can prepare for and hold the call.
When you email us
If you write to us at chuck@expert.email, we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include.
3.Cookies and analytics
The website itself does not set cookies. We do not currently use analytics, session recording, advertising pixels or any other tracking tools on this site. Third party services you choose to use, such as the Cal.com booking tool, operate under their own policies and may use their own cookies.
4.How we use it
We use the information described above to:
- Deliver and secure the website
- Schedule, prepare for and hold calls you book
- Reply to your messages and provide the services you ask for
- Keep ordinary business records
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you booked a call or sent an email.
5.Consulting client data
During an audit or engagement, a client may give us access to their email platform, sending domains, reporting or campaign data, which can include information about the client’s own subscribers. That access is governed by the engagement agreement with the client. We use client account data only to deliver the agreed service, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for any other purpose.
6.Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only in the following ways:
- Service providers that run parts of the site or our work, namely Vercel (hosting), Google (fonts) and Cal.com (booking), each under its own privacy policy
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States and other countries.
7.Retention
Server logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period under its own retention settings. Booking details and email correspondence are kept for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services and keep ordinary business records. Consulting client data is kept only as long as the engagement agreement allows.
8.Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California may give you rights over your personal information. Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose
To make a request, email chuck@expert.email. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9.Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
10.Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change, for example if we add new tools to the website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
11.Contact
For questions about this policy or your personal information, email chuck@expert.email.
